Emmanual “ain’t afraid of no ghosts!” Emmanuel is 8-years-old and has a rare genetic disorder of the immune system. His disease brings on complex medical issues that keep him in the hospital a lot and unable to be at home with his family. He is trying to get stronger and working hard so he can receive a bone marrow transplant.With his Mom working and busy back and forth from home and to the hospital caring for other young children at home, Emmanuel wished for a cell phone to call his Mom. When asked if he was going to text her, he said no, “I just want to call her and talk to her when I miss her.”
